Anytime I get the opportunity to photograph a family, I am excited. I love witnessing the array of different personalities and seeing how they all mesh together. And this time of year presents a beautiful opportunity to be outside with families. Fall is my favorite season, and a large part of that is because of all the warm colors in nature! That and sweaters…I can’t have enough cozy sweaters.
On this particular evening, which was still too warm for sweaters, we had a lot of fun. Going out together to get family photos is way better when everyone is relaxed and has a good time. The boys were super helpful in finding the perfect spot for some of our photos, and after being asked, showcased a number of fantastic goofy faces. We heard silly jokes, talked soccer and ice-cream and may have even climbed some trees! By the end of it, we captured a gorgeous collection of family photos. Here are some of my favorites:
